Dragon Tamer

Chapter 434: 436: Like a Weak Chicken

He was wanted for dodging a marriage.

This guy was wanted for killing too many people, with thousands, tens of thousands collectively putting up a hefty bounty for his head.

“Is this man in the painting you?” Xing Kun questioned once more.

“It should be. How would you, a death-row prisoner, get your hands on my portrait?” Zhu Minglang said, puzzled.

“Someone wants you dead, and it has to be a gruesome death,” Xing Kun stated flatly.

“It must be Yan Xu, that bastard’s just too malicious, actually sending this Demon Lord to deal with you!” Luo Shaoyan said, seething with anger.

“Do you know, inside the stomach of every death-row inmate there’s a parasitic egg. As soon as the whistle sounds, they will burrow out of the stomach and devour the inmate’s organs. If you’re lucky, they’ll start with the heart, and you’ll die right there and then. Unluckily, if they start with the liver, spleen, or lungs, you’ll still be alive while they feast… Tsk tsk! Actually, I rather like those bugs in my stomach because they are a lot like me,” Xing Kun said, smiling, revealing his filthy teeth.

Xing Kun greatly enjoyed this sensation of terrorizing his prey.

In the past, with every person he killed, he would tell them in great detail about the process of their demise, detailing it so meticulously that he could see the most genuine, weakest side of them right before death.

“Are you saying you look like a maggot?” Zhu Minglang said, with a surprised expression.

After hearing so much from this bloodthirsty monster, one would expect something terrifying, yet this was what he talked about.

Xing Kun, who was proudly recounting his killing fetish, couldn’t help but twitch at Zhu Minglang’s response.

What kind of comprehension do you have!

What this Demon Lord meant was, I’m like those vile bugs; I enjoy eating human innards!

He killed people to harvest their organs!

Who would say they look like a lump of bugs??

Luo Shaoyan and Jingyun already struggled to contain their laughter, but in the end, they couldn’t, wondering how Zhu Minglang could just not play by the rules even in such a tense and terrifying atmosphere?

“You may not realize what messing with me entails!” Xing Kun’s expression darkened dangerously, resembling a ferocious, bloodthirsty beast.

“So what exactly are you trying to say?” Zhu Minglang asked seriously.

“I finally understand why that person wanted to cut out your tongue,” Xing Kun said.

This guy’s tongue had to go.

Having said that, Xing Kun charged forward.

He appeared frail, but a terrifying strength burst forth from him, transforming him into a wolf-like ferocious creature.

Countless white feather blades fluttered around Zhu Minglang; these Storm Phantom Feathers, sharp as blades, scraped toward the Demon Lord Xing Kun under the control of Zhu Minglang’s will.

Demon Lord Xing Kun was not afraid at all. He seemed to have a body made of steel and iron; the Storm Phantom Feathers scraped across him without even cutting through his skin.

Zhu Minglang realized that this Xing Kun was no minor figure, so he summoned the Refining Ash Black Dragon.

The Little Black Dragon burst forth from the Spirit Realm, its entire body enshrouded in Ancient Dark Aura. It raised its claws and swiped at Xing Kun, the claws growing immense mid-air, crashing down like a small black mountain onto the earth.

The Demon Lord Xing Kun was wildly ferocious, as he dared to use his immensely sturdy body to block the heavy claw of a dragon.

The ground cracked open, but Demon Lord Xing Kun remained unharmed, he opened his mouth and let out a demonic roar, and all at once, his disheveled hair flew up, a blood-red savage aura swirling around him, transforming into his beastly breath!

“A Beast Shape Master?” Zhu Minglang watched Xing Kun, quickly discerning his abilities.

Clearly, Xing Kun was a Divine and Mortal, a type of cultivator who harnessed the power of wild beasts.

Now the beastly aura appearing behind him took the form of a jackal, with visible fangs and sharp claws, and in terms of speed, Xing Kun also immensely increased all at once.

He dodged the attack of the Refining Ash Black Dragon, trying to circle around to Zhu Minglang’s front.

Zhu Minglang had promptly put distance between them; as a Dragon Shepherd, there was no need to compete with a Divine and Mortal in a fistfight.

The Refining Ash Black Dragon raised its dragon foot and stomped fiercely toward the ground.

The earth trembled, as large slabs of rock rose steeply upward, forming a rugged barrier that blocked Xing Kun’s path.

Suddenly, Xing Kun spread his arms, and the beastly aura around him immediately morphed into a Devil Eagle, using this shape-shifting ability, he soared into the sky.

The Refining Ash Black Dragon craned its neck and spewed a terrifying stream of Dragon Flame toward Xing Kun.

The black Dragon Flame burst in midair, like a surging fire wolf from a pool of molten lava.

Xing Kun had no choice but to abandon the idea of attacking the Dragon Shepherd’s body, gliding with his arms as wings, to the higher elevations of the quarry.

Impractical for climbing up inside the pit, the Refining Ash Black Dragon simply stood in the midst of the quarry, continuing to spew scalding black Dragon Flame at Xing Kun!

“A Lord Level Black Dragon, daring to be rampant in front of me?” Xing Kun sneered.

He agilely changed positions in the air, finding gaps in the Dragon Flame, and dove down fiercely.

As he was about to charge at the Refining Ash Black Dragon, the beastly aura on Xing Kun changed again; this time, the beast breath morphed into an Ancient Giant Elephant, with a massive physique and a terrifying presence.

The Giant Elephant-shaped Xing Kun knocked the Refining Ash Black Dragon to the ground and repeatedly used the beast breath’s hooves to stomp on the Refining Ash Black Dragon.

Before Xing Kun could inflict serious damage on the Refining Ash Black Dragon, a dazzling brilliance appeared in the sky, an Azure Phoenix dragon’s shadow emerged, followed by a dense rain of Green Light Swords plunging toward the earth.

Xing Kun was greatly startled and instantly morphed into a wild rat-form, fleeing amidst the sharp and intense Green Light Swords.

Xing Kun failed to dodge them all; his body was seared in several places, only with great difficulty did he escape the area of the green swords’ shadow, the Azure Phoenix dragon, shrouded in a bright ball of green light, was hovering right above his head and plummeted straight down!

The Azure Phoenix Azure Dragon, like a brilliant sun falling, the intense flames of green light washing out in layers, Xing Kun intended to morph into a mountain turtle shape, but he quickly discovered that his beast breath was dispersed by the green flames, and his tough skin also began to crumble apart!

“Ahhh!!!!!”

Xing Kun screamed in agony, the powerful beastly aura around him had vanished, his body scorched and burnt, continually rolling across the ground strewn with shattered stones.

Luo Shaoyan looked up at the sky in astonishment, wanting to see just what Zhu Minglang’s dragon was, to be so powerful…

But when the blinding brilliance faded, the dragon had already been retracted by Zhu Minglang back into the Spirit Realm, leaving only the Refining Ash Black Dragon stepping towards the pitiful Murder Demon Xing Kun!

Wasn’t this the same Demon Lord Xing Kun who was violent and wicked, causing several Neon Sea Countries to tremble in fear?

How come he looked like a weak chicken in front of Zhu Minglang?
