Chapter 235: Ch.234 Mutant

With a grunt, he yanked out the rib bone stuck in his head, causing a gush of blood and brain matter. Feeling a bit dizzy, he casually tossed the bone aside.

The raincoat-wearing figures stared at him in confusion, while Deadpool turned to glare at them.

"Damn it! Do you know how gross that was? All your insides splattered all over me! Who\'s going to pay for the dry cleaning? This uniform is brand new! I\'ve barely worn it for a few hours. Can you even afford to pay for that?"

The figures looked at each other, clearly confused. None of them had mentioned anything about paying for damages. They were clearly outnumbering him, with over a dozen of them guarding the gate. What\'s the point of compensation when they\'re the ones about to kill him?

Deadpool shook his head and began plucking the remaining bones from his body. Blood gushed out like a fountain, making him look like a leaky watering can in a garden.

Then he remembered he lived in a cheap apartment with no garden.

He glanced down at his hand resting on the wall and let out a scream. His newly adopted pet rat, now impaled by a rib bone and squished against the wall, was flattened.

"Wallace? No!!!" Deadpool trembled as he retracted his hand, staring at the lifeless rat with its now dim, sneaky eyes. "You killed my pet! Not even my dad dared do that—because he disappeared when I was a kid!"

Ripping out the remaining bones and tossing the dead rat away, Deadpool brandished his two swords and charged at the group.

Thus, an intense fight erupted immediately.

From a distance, Deathstroke (Su Ming) hid behind a corner, observing the chaos.

The enemies turned out to be mutants, just as expected. The one who had earlier exploded his guts like a sea cucumber was likely some sort of mutant with regenerative abilities. The rest each had their own unique powers. Their control over their abilities was advanced, and it was clear they were well-organized—an effective fighting unit.

These mutants were unfamiliar, likely coming from somewhere unknown.

But right now, they were all enemies, no doubt about it.

"You two, maintain your distance. These powered types can be unpredictable. I\'m going in to help," Su Ming said as he drew his Godslayer sword, giving a quick order to the doctor and the mage.

While Deadpool was tough and skilled, facing over a dozen enemies at once would stretch even his abilities. His healing factor took time, and if he lost too many limbs, he\'d be vulnerable.

Su Ming remembered that Deadpool had once worn some kind of armor, designed by Tony Stark, no less. But Deadpool found it too constricting and sold it after one use.

Due to Deadpool\'s flamboyant nature, he had a lot of fans—some even collected his worn-out uniforms.

If Wolverine\'s outfit was known for being a "strong odor" type, then Deadpool\'s would be "saucy-smell" type, with bits of his blood and flesh still attached.

Thankfully, because of his cancer, Deadpool\'s body parts couldn\'t be harvested for cloning, otherwise, someone would\'ve tried.

Tendrils of symbiote emerged from Su Ming\'s armor, latching onto the ceiling of the sewer. Using them like Spider-Man\'s webs, Su Ming crawled along the roof in the shadows toward the battle.

As soon as he landed, his golden curved blade swiftly sliced off a head—a mutant with green skin who appeared to have a lizard-like appearance and the power to breathe fire.

Fire was a threat to symbiotes, so Su Ming targeted him first, taking him out with a surprise attack. The head hit the ground before the sound of Su Ming\'s landing could be heard, and no one even noticed him.

Everyone\'s attention was focused on attacking Deadpool.

"Aha! You poked my eye with your tongue! Take this monkey-slice move! And you there, you remind me of a puppy—one I want to punt! Now, how\'s that for a stinky fart in your face, huh?"

Deadpool\'s vulgar taunts never stopped as he fought, perfectly following Su Ming\'s plan to distract and provoke the enemies. His brain worked fast, coming up with unique strategies to keep them off-balance.

And, of course, he was incredibly annoying.

He used every vile insult he could think of, further enraging the mutants. None of them noticed that Su Ming had slipped in behind them.

Far in the distance, Monarch\'s magical effects were dramatic. Using dark magic, he summoned lightning from an alternate dimension, instantly frying one of the mutants into a crisp.

In the pitch-black tunnel, the lightning illuminated the scene, revealing a charred skeleton thrashing around before collapsing into dust.

However, it was Doctor Horowitz who had the most success in this battle. It seemed he had a natural talent for shooting from the shadows. The mutants might have powerful abilities, but most of them weren\'t bulletproof. One by one, they fell to the doctor\'s relentless gunfire.

With Deadpool holding the frontline, Su Ming flanking, and the mage and doctor providing ranged support, it didn\'t take long before only the sea cucumber-like mutant remained.

Grinning, Deadpool moved in, slashing with his twin swords. But the mutant regenerated as fast as Deadpool could cut, exploding into gory pieces only to reform instantly.

"Slade! Any ideas? This guy\'s healing faster than Logan! Swords don\'t work!" Deadpool complained.

His swords were made of carbonadium alloy, specifically designed to inhibit healing factors. He had gotten them to deal with his love-hate relationship with Wolverine. But even these swords were ineffective here.

"I\'ve got this." Su Ming handed over the symbiote-infused Nightbringer sword, which glowed with a silvery X-metal edge. Rather than slashing, he thrust the blade directly into the mutant\'s back.

The sword went in smoothly, skewering the mutant. But as soon as Su Ming withdrew the blade, the wound healed just as quickly.

"Hahaha! I can\'t die! You\'re done for!" the mutant laughed, ignoring any attempts to block or dodge as Su Ming and Deadpool continued hacking at him.

But just as the mutant had said, his healing factor was freakishly fast. He wasn\'t feeling any pain either, making it hard to find a weak spot.

"I think I know what\'s going on here," Su Ming muttered as he was once again blown back by an explosion of guts. Grabbing Deadpool mid-flight, he pulled him back into position. "This guy\'s like infinite clay. We can hack at him all day and still not destroy him."

"Ugh, is this really invincibility? This pseudo-regeneration is driving me crazy. I\'ve already chopped off ten heads and a hundred limbs! I feel like I\'m in a butcher\'s nightmare, except the pig keeps laughing at me!"

Deadpool dodged another attack from the mutant, who now wielded a bone-made cleaver. For some reason, the mutant seemed fixated on targeting Deadpool instead of Su Ming.

Normally, healing required energy, like food or drugs. But where was this guy\'s energy coming from? Su Ming and Deadpool had already hacked off a pile of limbs, enough to form a small mountain.

This didn\'t make sense in terms of energy conservation. Su Ming thought for a moment and decided to move past that question for now.
