The Divine Wolf... or?

Seeing this, Ark was a bit dumbfounded once again. he had unlocked a new part of his status, it now showed his condition, this was probably due to his skill [Envoy Of Holiness] since it would make the user weak for a period of time after being used. But what confused him was the skill that had shown up in his skill list, [Holy Spear: Dawn].

The weirdest part was the fact that when Ark tried to inspect it, all that showed up were question marks, exactly like his [Growth] skill. As he thought about this, he decided to try the skill out and see if it was something that he could use. As he activated the skill, he once again condensed the heavenly looking spear.

As it landed onto the ground, Ark tried to manipulate it with his Mana, but nothing happened. Ark was a bit surprised, as he tried to pour his Mana into the spear, it worked without a hitch, and the spear started to emanate a scary aura.

If he tried to move it with his physical body, it moved without obstruction, but it wasn\'t like he could wield it with his current body. Therefore the skill was quite useless right now. But it might come in handy in the future.

As he was engrossed in his own thoughts, he suddenly sensed a massive change in the surrounding earth Mana, as it suddenly started to converge on top of the unconscious dwarf in massive amounts.

A weird crust formed on top of the dwarf, completely made out of the earth element. Ark was alerted as he had no idea what was going on. He didn\'t even know if what was happening was a good thing or not. As he was about to walk closer and inspect the weird phenomenon, a sudden aura exploded out of the crust.

The aura was very imperious, and it was very ferocious, an aura that belonged to an animal if anything.

The aura expanded outwards, and even Ark started to feel a little pressure. What Ark didn\'t know, however, was that all of the monsters in the surrounding had all gone into hiding, without a single exception.

The aura suddenly retreated back into the crust, where it built up for a couple of seconds before the crust suddenly exploded into smithereens. The aura once again exploded outwards, but this time it was in the form of a brown dragon, and accompanying this aura, was an earth-shaking roar. The dwarf\'s eyes glowed a sinister looking amber, as his body started to float a little off the ground.

A second later, it all calmed down though, and the dwarf gently landed back on the ground, with his eyes going back to normal.

Ark was astonished for a second before he realized what had just happened, he never expected this random dwarf to have a bloodline! And from the looks of it, it was the bloodline of a genuine dragon. From what Ark knew, dragons were mythological creatures that held immense power, no matter what kind of dragon you were talking about.

The earth elements reactions made Ark believe that this was some sort of earth dragon, and that was probably why the dwarf even used the earth element, to begin with.

...

Abruptly waking up, Thufrat sat straight up. He had just dreamt a very odd dream, where he was confronted by a majestic earth dragon. The weird thing was, when he tried to recall it, everything was just blurry.

It took a couple of seconds, but Thafrut suddenly noticed that he had no idea where he was. He was resting on top of some very soft type of wool, that gave him a warm and fuzzy feeling. A couple of meters away, he saw the wolf that he had just fought a battle with. The wolf gazed at him with its starry eyes, giving him a weird feeling for a second, but it went away as quickly as it came.

Thafrut was a very headstrong and simple person, and he had very thick skin.

"That was one hell of a fight huh."

He uttered as he chuckled a little. The wolf only gave him a simple nod, making him chuckle even more. This was such a surreal moment after all. And Thafrut was genuinely thankful to this wolf that had saved his life. Even though he could be a bit slow on the uptake at times, he wasn\'t stupid, and he knew that he would be dead by now if this wolf didn\'t take him with it.\'

"You have my thanks pal, without you, I would\'ve been done for!"

Hearing this, the wolf seemed to be a little happy for the recognition of its efforts, as it nodded its head once more. Thafrut slowly grew to like this wolf, as it didn\'t seem like an animal at all. Even though he had heard about demonic and divine creatures, he didn\'t believe in such nonsense.

Just because a monster was intelligent and helped out humans, it was apparently "divine", and if it attacked humans, it was demonic. Thufrat didn\'t believe in stuff like that at all, what they did was in their nature, whether it be helping or not, he didn\'t believe something had to be classified as evil or good just because of something like that.

Everyone\'s views on what was good and evil differed, and therefore, stuff like that didn\'t work in reality. Thufrat already saw this wolf as a friend of his, because of what they had been through, and because it was his lifesaver. It was a bit inconvenient that the wolf couldn\'t directly speak with him, but he could adapt.

Of course, he didn\'t really know the wolf\'s thoughts, but he could guess that this wolf was what he defined as good, and not evil.

As he looked around a little more, he noticed that they were inside what seemed to be a large, hollowed out tree. There was a bonfire in the middle of the "room" if you could call it that, and it looked very cozy. All that was missing were some furniture, and this would be an ideal living space in Thufrats opinion.

...

Seeing the reaction of the dwarf, Ark was a little happy on the inside. When he heard what the dwarf said, the impression that Ark had of the dwarf was quite good. The dwarf seemed to be a genuine and nice person, who had experienced the hardships of life. Since Ark had experienced a lot in his past life, he could easily see through people nowadays. Especially someone like this.

When he thought about it, Ark became a little gloomy since he started to think a little about the small interactions he had with the humans of this world. The reason he was so gloomy wasn\'t only because his head had been messed with, most of the gloominess came from his disappointment in himself. He felt so stupid when he thought about it.

On a positive note, he learned from the experience and grew as a person.
