Chapter 211: It Is Our Fault

Chapter 211: It Is Our Fault

"Well then, I\'ll look forward to our future deals." Ed and John shook hands as the ship was preparing to leave. Ed declined the offer to make the ship personal for him and his monsters, as he didn\'t want to hurt John\'s business a lot. The ship was prepared in a hurry and word got out quickly. Many people that missed the first ship managed to get on this one. Some of them tried to back off when they saw monsters on the ship but still got on. The staff explained that Ed and his companions were VVIP and that if anyone messed with them, they wouldn\'t intervene.

Ed found out that many things changed with the ships. Now, even commoners could afford the fare. But, the higher the price of the ticket, the better the voyage will be. The lowest price to get on the ship was ten gold coins, which guaranteed basically nothing. No room and you\'d have to pay for the food yourself. The price was very low so such a thing was expected. The higher the price of the ticket, the better the accommodations.

Ed and his companions secured the best rooms on the ship, along with an all you can eat buffet in the restaurant. Free of charge. The price they needed to pay would have been higher than the tip Ed had given John. Yet, John didn\'t take no for an answer.

"The trip will take three days. You\'re free to do whatever you want, but try to take it easy on the food. We don\'t want to bankrupt John after he was so generous to us!" said Ed. He knew just how much his companions could eat if they were given total freedom. He planned to cook for them if they weren\'t satisfied.

Suika went with Bella to play, and Emilia followed after them. \'I need to look after them!\' She told Ed, but he could see the excitement in her eyes. She liked cute things, and Suika with Bella was as cute as it could get. Agumon followed after Ed to his room as he was quite attached to him. He didn\'t get to spend much time due to all the fights and wars that took place. Raikou went to sleep on his bed, while Garu, Goburou, and Gobuta went to their rooms to train their Nen.

Merry, being a first timer on a ship went to the deck and enjoyed her time there.

"System, give me a rundown of the cards I have."

[You have 13xTransformation Cards, 2xUpgrade Cards, 0xHealing Cards, and 55 Gacha tickets.]

"I need 10 Upgrade cards to evolve something to Mythical grade, right?" Ed asked as he studied his possibilities.

[Correct. However, special upgrade cards exist. But, due to their extreme rarity, I\'d suggest saving up tickets and drawing accordingly.]

\'Then that means I\'ll need double, no triple the number of tickets I have now\' Ed frowned and thought about how he needed to massacre some opponents in order to get the Gacha tickets he needs. All of these cards came from the Bloody war. And he got them thanks to his Party Function that allowed his comrades to drop items like him.

\'Well, no need to dwell on it. I managed to get this strong by looking through two continents only. There three more to go\' Ed thought as he drifted to sleep. He didn\'t need the sleep, as his cultivation could allow him to go for weeks without food, water, or sleep. But, it was still blissful to do so. \'Sleep is the best!\' Many people would agree.

Agumon noticed that Ed was going to sleep and joined him.

*BANG* *BANG*

A noise, followed by the rocking of the ship caused Ed and Agumon to wake up. He didn\'t know exactly how much time had passed, but he knew it should be nighttime at least. The two left the room and headed to the deck of the ship, as did many other travelers.

"Please return to your rooms as it very dangerous now. The Heavenly Establishment staff will take care of things as soon as possible." A staff member blocked the door going to the deck as he didn\'t want people to get injured. Ed had already been through a similar incident, but it wasn\'t as serious. Last time, the staff member tasked with the protection of the ship managed to kill everything before it could even touch the ship.

"Merry, what is happening?" Ed called out, scaring the people in front of him. The staff member looked confused and then was startled as an angel appeared above him out of thin air.

"Tens of monsters are attacking. It\'s more than what they can handle." Merry used her invisibility to hide from the eyes of others while she enjoyed her time at the deck.

"Is this a normal occurrence?" The people became frantic as they heard what Merry said. Still, Ed simply walked over to the staff and asked him.

"No sir, it\'s not. Although these waters used to have monsters in them, they were never strong ones. But, a couple of months ago, a massacre happened in the northern waters near the capital of Aaragon kingdom. To avoid death, many of the marine life forms ran for their lives and settled here. Now, they attack everything in order to secure food."

The staff explained as he knew Ed\'s status on the ship. But, he failed to notice Ed\'s face going pale as a couple drops of sweat slid down his cheek.

\'Isn\'t that our fault!!!\' Ed thought about it and figured it out. It was them. His monsters were the reason why these waters were having so much trouble. It was Agumon and Goburou that killed hundreds of sea monsters at the time when he went to save Emilia.

"Don\'t worry about it; we\'ll take care of the problem." The staff\'s spirits were lifted as he heard Ed. He couldn\'t help but stare in awe at how Ed decided to save them. Yet, he didn\'t know that the problem was Ed\'s fault in the first place.

"Merry, the ones that are asleep will likely not wake up from something of this degree. But, you should go ahead and tell the ones that are awake about what\'s happening. I\'ll take care of the situation here. Agumon, do you want to help, or just look around?"

"I\'ll help!" He said as the two of them stepped forward. The people that were panicking couldn\'t help but stay around to see the spectacle.

They couldn\'t stop their gasps and screams as Agumon transformed into WarGreymon.
